Six Afghan Students Get First Position At Al-Azhar
Six Afghan students have been identified as first position students by obtaining the highest scores at Jamea Al-Azhar of Egypt.
In a session held on Sunday with participation of Minister of Education Farooq Wardak, ambassador of Egypt to Kabul Mahab Nasar, high-ranking officials, diplomats of Egypt and Iraq, Egyptian teachers and a number of parliamentarians, six Afghan students obtaining the highest scores in 12 grades at Jamea Al-azhar of Egypt were highly appreciated.
In the ceremony, Minister of Education while welcoming the guests added, “Today’s ceremony is held for further preaching Allah’s verdicts and appreciation of the top students of Al-azhar.” He further said the students could get high positions from first to six from among ten top students chosen from 4000 students of nearly 120 Islamic countries, adding they brought honor to their country.
At the end, Egyptian ambassador to Kabul spoke and stressed on enduring his country’s cooperation with Afghanistan in education sector.
