Removal Of 25% Requested Salary From Rights and Privileges law for MPs

According a statement of Parliament In a joint committee upper and lower house members agreed to remove 25% salary of allowance from MPs law on rights and privileges after official service mission of MPs.
This is while during past week two peaceful rallies’ and gatherings were organized by civil society activists and people in Kabul and other provinces demanding for fully removal of this law.
The protestors’ argument about the law on right and privilege for Mps after service period was unfair and discriminatory against other citizens, in the current situation of Afghanistan with a weak economy.
On Tuesday in a gathering anti law on rights and privileges of Mps In Koti Sangi Area of Kabul, workers and labors were clamming of being jobless since months as MPs were trying to approve laws for their self-benefits.
Civil society activists Abdul Maruf ‘Ghiasee’ and Editor In Chief of Our paper mentioned that the gathering and protest will continue till fully removal of this law.
